Mrs. Mona Shri Sethi with Lynne Davies (co-ordinator) from Kings School UK.
These three words brilliantly sum up the journey of a school partnership. Between hope and celebration of success several other emotions colour the canvas of a partnership - Anxiety, Fear, Joy, Surprise, frustration, patience ...
The DFID (Department for International Development) Global School Partnerships programme aims to promote a global dimension in school curricula. Our participation in this programme demonstrates The British School’s interest to prepare learners for life in a global world. TBS is working on projects covering U.K and India issues that need action from all of us if we want to make the world a better place.
One such project between TBS and King’s School, U.K. on Global warming where TBS provided the beginning and the end of the story while “Kings” wrote the body was a tremendous success. Imagine what would happen if the world agreed and acted on what each of us have to do about global warming. TBS has no doubt that creating the U.K. and India partnerships will develop friendship between students of different nations and gradually lead our children to an international understanding of social and economical issues.
